Partnership options
Our experienced Programmes team can work with you to create a unique programme that meets your aims. Programmes can be designed to work nationally or locally, to benefit children of any age. If you would like to discuss working with us to create a programme, contact Sarah Ghahremani or call 029 2022 7929.
Here are some of the elements that might make up your programme.
Grants and awards for schools and settings
Funding to help schools and settings transform their dreams into reality always makes a big difference. Our programmes usually require applicants to involve their school communities in a thorough planning process to ensure that funds are wisely spent.
Advice and support
A vital element of all our programmes is the expert advice and support we can offer. This can be provided through regular mailings, online resource libraries, dedicated phone and email enquiry lines or site visits from our network of trained facilitators.
Employee involvement
Many of our programmes include the direct involvement of the employees of the sponsoring partner. This might include mentoring a project manager during a school grounds improvement project, or putting on the wellies for a weekend's work in the grounds.
Training
Our accredited trainers can provide training for programme participants to make sure they have the skills they need.
Developing resources
Our projects with partners often include the creation of new resources to support schools and settings. From printed activity packs to online resources or school grounds toolkits, we have a long history of producing high-quality, curriculum focused resources.
Research
All our programmes include evaluation, but further elements of research can be added to take forward knowledge about the importance of outdoor play and learning, and the benefits from pupil involvement in transforming their outdoor spaces.
