Developing partnerships for school grounds

In order to deliver our vision Learning through Landscapes works with partners from the public, private and voluntary sectors to develop and manage a portfolio of national and regional programmes and research.

Learning through Landscapes channels much needed investment into school communities and works with key stakeholder groups to tackle issues that improve opportunities for the learning and development of children and young people.

We have developed and managed a varied and creative range of national and regional initiatives that aim:

  • To provide direct support and investment for schools and settings to help them make physical improvements to their school grounds.
  • To demonstrate best practice in various aspects of school grounds use, design and management.
  • To create an evidence base that demonstrates the value of outdoor learning for whole child development.
  • To develop a variety of resources that provide for a range of opportunities to positively impact on the whole school community.
  • We have considerable experience of developing and designing programmes that can help corporate sector partners deliver their Corporate & Social Responsibility objectives and Community Investment priorities. These can be focused on a particular theme or target audience and provide opportunities not only to engage with and bring tangible benefit to local communities but also provide a vehicle to support the continuous professional development of employees.
