School grounds professionals

LTL Accreditation

Learning through Landscapes is recruiting, training and accrediting trainers and facilitators in all parts of the country and equipping them to support projects focusing on the school grounds or outdoor provision in the early years.

Accredited Trainers and Facilitators help schools and settings plan and implement the improvements they would like to make in their outdoor spaces. LTL relies on its network of trainers and facilitators to deliver LTL projects at the local level.

Accreditation enhances the work you are planning or already delivering and provides a structure to your work that ensures consistent results. You can become accredited with a specialism either in the early years sector or in school grounds. Accreditation can count towards a Level 3 Open College Network qualification.

The initial one-day School Grounds or Early Years Base-line Course looks at the principles and practicalities of school grounds use, design and management from a practitioner's perspective, including project planning and curriculum links.

Following the completion of this day you can attend the Accredited Trainer or Accredited Facilitator, which cover training or facilitation techniques in detail. Participants must pass a two-part assessment in order to achieve full accreditation:
